A DAY AT EXPORO

As part of our Tech & Product organization, you’ll help us to build modern, beautiful, and stable web applications. You’ll work collaboratively with our engineers and product managers to create and maintain stable and blazing fast applications. For this, you adopted a DevOps mindset. You’ll enable our teams to build the best possible infrastructure for our products.

You will be a part of the leading platform for digital real estate investments in Germany. Your team is organized independently and in small agile teams which in some cases are spread throughout Europe.

We believe that user-centric design ultimately leads to the best products, so we listen closely to our users, both external and internal. As an engineer of our agile teams, you’ll be an active voice in shaping our product. Exporo is constantly rolling out high-demand features and tackling ever greater challenges of scale.

THE TECH STACK

One of our basic philosophies is ‘cloud only’. Along our tech journey, we created apps on EC2, Fargate/ECS, and AWS Lambda with the Serverless framework. You’ll find a bit of everything in your current tech infrastructure.

Exporo makes extensive use of AWS, Docker, NodeJS, PHP, React, Vue.js, and many different tools for monitoring and software development. We use tools like GitHub actions to streamline deployments and Looker to see what’s going on under the hood. We make use of 'infrastructure as code' with CDK and we strive to automate our internal processes as reasonably as possible.

Since we have a remote work model in place, you will be welcome in our offices in either Hamburg or Lisbon 2-3 days a quarter.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• You are a Cloud professional, with at least 3 years of experience in Cloud infrastructure 
• In-depth knowledge and experience with the AWS ecosystem
• Experience with software engineering in a product-driven tech company with a track record of delivering software with high business impact
• You are familiar with Docker and running containers in production environments
• Experience with Scrum or other agile methodologies
• You cherish clean code, maintainable software architecture and enjoy improving on these skills even further
• You should be interested in the analysis and the understanding of the business processes and you should use your analytic skills and structured approach while solving problems
• An agile mindset, curiosity, and motivation to create and actively co-design products are some of your main characteristics
